The betting stage starts with the players making an Ante and/or a Pair Plus bet. Once they are placed, punters and dealers are dealt three face-down cards. Then, each player may look at their cards and decide if they wish to place a Play wager, which must be equal to the Ante stake.

If the dealer’s hand is superior, both Ante and Play bets are collected.
