Japanese soccer star Kazuyoshi Miura, the world’s oldest player, will continue playing in 2022. A 54-year-old striker with stints in Santos and Palmeiras has signed with Suzuka Point Getters. A true legend in Japan, he was not called for the country’s first World Cup, in 1998, in France. In 2012, at the age of 45, he achieved the feat of wearing the national jersey on the court.
